Passage of The Rev. Dr. John E. Bird
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of The Rev. Dr. John E. Bird a former curate and interim priest at Christ Church. Fr. Bird died on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Fr. Bird’s life will be commemorated with a viewing on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 62 Delaware Street, Woodbury, NJ. The Rite of Christian Burial and Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Christ Church Woodbury on Saturday, July 6 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Christ Church Memorial Fund in Fr. Bird’s memory.
