Violet M. Wells, 100, formerly of Waterford, CT, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024, in the loving care of family and Hospice. Violet retired from the Waterford Public School system and filled her retirement with things she loved the best. She loved to dance and sing but most of all she loved her family. Pre deceased by her son, Bill, she leaves behind her daughter Margaret Marsh and her son-in-law Kenneth Marsh of NY; 2 grandchildren Paul Withstandley of CT, Emily Piskun (née Withstandley) of NJ and their spouses Erin (CT) and Christopher (NJ); 5 great grandchildren Jack and Luke Withstandley of CT, Thomas and Rebecca Piskun of NJ, and Luke Piskun of PA. Also, her niece Susan Kerr and loving friends and neighbors in Waterford, New London and Mystic.

Services will be held in Christ Church, Woodbury, NJ at 11 AM on Saturday, July 13 followed by interment at Eglington cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.
