First Holy Communion

What is required of us when we come to the Eucharist? It is required that we should examine our lives, repent of our sins, and be in love and charity with all people.

Before preparing to receive Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, children of Christ Church come to know and love Him at an age appropriate level. Therefore, children preparing for First Holy Communion are invited to complete one full semester of religious education, to be regular in their Mass attendance, and participate in their second consecutive year of religious education through our Sunday school program.
